Warehouse Logistics Manager

Position Overview:

Logistics Managers are professionals who are responsible for ensuring that the supply chain is efficient and effective throughout their organization. They organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
  • Supervise, coach, and train the warehouse workforce.
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Having good knowledge of Current RMS or any other software about warehouse management.
  • Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

Requirements / Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a Logistics manager with 5 years of experience.
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
  • Proficient in standard logistics Current RMS software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English.
  • Arabic is an Advantage.
